Peppersauce Cave is a on the north side of Mt. Lemon, north of Tucson. The cave has over 7300 feet of passages and is in the Coronado National Forest. We are in the middle of a yearlong graffiti removal and restoration effort removing tags in the cave, and we are looking for additional volunteers to help. DESCRIPTION This will be a backpacking trip to assess some springs in the Chiricahua Wilderness. SIA has taken on a project to help the Coronado National Forest inventory and assess water resources in the Galiuro, Miller Peak, Rincon, Chiricahua, Mt. Wrightson, Pajarita, and Santa Teresa Wilderness Areas. This weekend, we will be working to assess springs and other water resources in the Chiricahua Wilderness. Butterfly Trail Work Day

In conjunction with the USFS, Summit Hut, and thanks to a grant from Mountain Hardware, we will be working to rehab the south end of the Butterfly Trail, part of the AZT Pusch Ridge Wilderness Bypass Route.
